- Arrived in Sydney, Australia on the ship "Isabella" 9th March 1822 as a convict from Queens (Laoighis)County, Ireland sentenced to transportation for life.
By way of paid assistance granted by the Government, Laurence's wife Mary & their two youngest sons Daniel & John arrived in Sydney, Australia aboard the ship "Thames" on 11 April 1826.
They were followed by their oldest son Michael in 1830 on board the ship "Forth".
